The Global Foreign Exchange (GFX) business is looking to hire a risk-manager within the FX Forwards complex. The person will be an integral part of the Global Foreign Exchange business in Sydney Australia

Your key responsibilities:

You will join the FX Forwards trading desk which is responsible for pricing and risk management of FX & XCCY swaps and in addition has significant overlap with STIR products sub 2 years tenor.

  • Pricing of client deals

  • Managing risk to FX Swap IR and XCCY markets

  • Driving business growth

  • Funding desk cash positions

  • Liaising with other traders in pricing transactions involving multiple books

  • Interacting with sales and originations to generate new business

  • Meeting with institutional and corporate clients alongside Sales to maintain and develop the banks FX franchise

  • Project work to continually improve our systems and infrastructure

Your skills and experience:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience of pricing and managing FX Forwards & STIR products.

  • Knowledge of all short end rate derivatives XCCY swaps and FX Forwards

  • Excellent spreadsheet and database skills (Matlab VBA Java)

  • Proven risk management skills

  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills

  • Ability to understand and interpret market trends and identify communicate and market trade ideas
