Job Summary
Job Purpose
Candidates profile
As our System Administrator you would have the following responsibilities:
- Administer maintain and troubleshoot Windows endpoints across the organization ensuring optimal performance and security compliance
- Manage user accounts group policies and access permissions within Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Manage workstations device enrolment configuration and policies within Microsoft Intune
- Manage and support company email domains mailboxes rules and groups within Microsoft 365 Exchange
- Support and maintain on-premises server infrastructure running on Proxmox virtualization platform
- Provide technical support to end users resolving hardware and software issues in a timely manner
- Perform regular system backups disaster recovery testing and ensure business continuity procedures are in place
- Monitor system performance security alerts and proactively address potential issues
- Document IT procedures system configurations and maintain accurate asset records
- Assist with IT projects including infrastructure upgrades migrations and new technology implementations
What would make you successful in this role:
- Educational background in Information Technology or related field
- 3 years of experience in a System Administrator or IT Support role
- Strong experience with Active Directory and Group Policy management
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and cloud services
- Proficiency with Windows 10/11 desktop operating systems
- Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 administration
- Working knowledge of Proxmox or other virtualization technology
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP DNS DHCP VPN)
- Good command of English language both written and spoken
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Focused determined and proactive mindset
- Desire to learn and develop your skills continuously
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with advanced networking VLANs Firewalls Routing and Switching
- Experience with VoIP IP PBX SIP
- Experience with Linux
- Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell batch scripting)
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator CompTIA A or similar
