Business Development Executive
The Role:
As a Business Development Executive you play a key role in driving broker-led growth and delivering a high-quality service-led experience. This role focuses on generating new business managing broker relationships and supporting brokers through the full application journey from submission to funding.
Working closely with Business Development Managers Credit and Operations you will act as a trusted point of contact for brokers particularly across the BDM panel and long-tail broker relationships.
Reporting to:Sales Director
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Generate new business through proactive service-led engagement
- Fielding inbound calls and making outbound calls to active brokers providing timely support and guidance.
- Take brokers throughout the full application lifecycle from submission through to funding.
- Package and review funding applications to ensure completeness accuracy and compliance.
- Own and continuously develop the broker onboarding process.
- Identify opportunities to improve broker experience and reduce friction.
- Own and actively manage your pipeline in Salesforce ensuring accurate and timely updates.
- Coordinate with internal teams to progress applications and resolve queries.
- Proactively manage delays and keep brokers informed throughout the process.
- Build and maintain strong knowledge of our products processes and eligibility criteria.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Good communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to prioritise and organise.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including a friendly and helpful telephone manner.
- Computer literate good keyboard skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of Salesforce advantageous.
