About the role

Reporting to the Head of Brand Advertising & PR you will set the future direction of the Sportsbet brand and its communications. You will play a lead role in shaping the strategic marketing plan and own the development and execution of high-impact go-to-market strategies across key racing and sporting moments.

You will lead a team to deliver high-quality integrated campaigns and be accountable for measuring and optimising the impact of brand initiatives. With a strong understanding of consumer insights and the drivers of brand equity you will be accountable for the continuous development and performance of the Sportsbet brand.

This is a 10-month secondment opportunity.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own brand consistency and campaigns in support of the Head of Brand & Advertising acting as the lead brand guardian for the business.
  • Lead brand projects and campaigns from strategy through to delivery ensuring clear plans processes stakeholder alignment and outcomes.
  • Train support and uplift marketing peers on brand principles and lead the brand component of cross-functional projects.
  • Lead empower and develop a high-performing team to deliver consistently high-quality brand and advertising outcomes.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with key internal stakeholders proactively communicating strategic plans progress and outcomes.
  • Monitor brand and campaign performance alongside customer perceptions using insights to evolve communications and inform stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional GTM planning across the business to maximise impact across the sporting and racing calendar.

About you:

  • Combines strategic thinking with strong execution skills translating insight into high-impact outcomes.
  • Proactively identifies and drives new business brand and GTM opportunities.
  • Strong marketing and commercial acumen balancing brand-building with business objectives.
  • Expert in brand codes positioning tone of voice storytelling and integrated communications.
  • Delivers complex fast-paced campaigns on time and to a high standard.
  • Leads develops and empowers teams to perform consistently at a high level.
  • Ability to use data and insights to inform decisions and optimise campaigns.
  • Builds and influences relationships with stakeholders and agency partners to drive alignment and impact.
