This is an exciting opportunity to launch your career as a Transmission Line Mechanic gaining qualifications and learning the skills required to deliver high-quality construction maintenance and fault diagnosis/rectification of transmission network equipment and installations.

Youll be supported through structured training on-the-job learning and development opportunities working in a team that values safety teamwork and continuous improvement.

Youre motivated reliable and keen to build a long-term career in the electricity industry. You enjoy hands-on work take safety seriously and are comfortable working outdoors in physically demanding environments.

You will bring:

Level 1 NCEA passes in English and Maths
Current Class 1 drivers licence with a clean record
Competent verbal and written communication skills
Physical stamina to carry out manual work in challenging conditions
An interest in the electrical industry completion of a pre-trades course is an advantage
