Job Summary
The Business & Financial Analyst will provide analytical financial and reporting support to the Real Estate and Workplace Solutions (RE&WS) organization. This early-career position is designed for professionals beginning their careers in business or financial analysis and offers hands-on experience supporting real estate portfolio management financial reporting and operational analysis. This position assists with compiling validating and analyzing data related to real estate costs leases space utilization and portfolio performance. Working under the guidance of senior managers the role supports budgeting activities recurring reporting and ad hoc analysis to inform real estate planning and decision-making. The position offers opportunities to develop technical analytical and business skills while contributing to enterprise-level real estate initiatives.

Analytical & Professional Skills
Strong analytical aptitude with the ability to interpret financial and operational data
High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and consistency
Ability to follow established processes while learning and applying best practices
Business & Data Tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formulas data analysis and working with large datasets
Experience creating or supporting reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI or similar platforms
Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform tools (e.g. Power Automate Power Apps) or willingness to learn
Technical Foundations
Basic exposure to data analysis or scripting tools (e.g. Python) through coursework or early professional experience
Ability to use approved analytical and AI-assisted tools to support analysis documentation and problem resolution
Communication & Collaboration
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and receive guidance and feedback
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Finance Business Administration Economics Accounting Data Analytics Information Systems or a related field
0 years of relevant experience through entry-level roles internships or academic projects
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Local to Reston VA area with ability to frequently be onsite.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting financial analysis reporting or budgeting activities
Exposure to corporate real estate facilities management or asset-based analysis
Familiarity with SQL databases or structured data analysis
Experience working with large complex or unstructured datasets
Interest in developing long-term expertise in business financial or real estate analytics
