Job Overview

The Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Production Lead to join our growing video production team. This role is responsible for producing high-quality video content to support our products credential holders and organizational brand. The Video Production Lead will shoot edit and deliver compelling videos for product marketing podcasts credential holder highlights company storytelling and more. This individual must also be capable of stepping into a director/producer role leading video shoots from pre-production planning through post-production delivery.

Core Duties

  • Plan shoot and edit video content for product videos promotional campaigns podcasts and corporate highlights.
  • Collaborate with marketing product and communications teams to develop creative concepts and storyboards.
  • Ability to lead and manage all aspects of video production including script development pre-production planning directing on-site shoots and post-production editing.
  • Ability to serve as director/producer on video shoots ensuring alignment with creative vision project goals and brand standards.
  • Edit video with attention to pacing storytelling and brand guidelines; incorporate motion graphics audio and visual effects as needed.
  • Manage equipment setup lighting sound and camera operation to ensure professional-quality production.
  • Maintain and organize video assets equipment and digital libraries.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Stay up to date with video production trends tools and best practices to continuously improve BCSPs content quality.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior production staff and freelancers when necessary.

Education & Experience

  • 5 years of professional video production and editing experience preferably in corporate agency or nonprofit settings.
  • Proven track record of leading video shoots from concept through final delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience as a director/producer on multi-camera shoots.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality video production and storytelling skills.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro After Effects Audition or similar).
  • Strong technical expertise in camera operation lighting audio recording and post-production workflows.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.
  • Bachelors degree in Film Media Production Communications or related field preferred (equivalent professional experience accepted).
