5CN is an Acute Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit providing complex care to primarily Cardiology and Cardiothoracic patients; located at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee. Milwaukee is located in southeastern Wisconsin 90 minutes from Chicago IL and Madison WI. Milwaukee is on the shores of Lake Michigan the fifth largest lake in the world where Summerfest the worlds largest music festival and many ethnic festivals take place throughout the summer.
5CN is an acute Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit that provides complex care to primarily Cardiology and Cardiothoracic patients. The telemetry station in the hospital is located on this unit providing monitoring of the 15 beds on 5CN as well as remote monitoring on 4C 6CN/S and 7C. All staff achieves and maintains telemetry competence allowing flexibility in staff assignment to the telemetry station 24/7.
