The RN Clinical Nurse Emergency Department is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients families and significant others receive individualized high quality safe patient care. They practice in a clinical environment that is administered by Nurse Managers and other leaders and is supported through the Wellstar Shared Governance Model. The framework for practice is steered by the Wellstar Professional Practice Model and evidence-based practice and research. RN competencies are derived from these models and supported by the Wellstar is expected that all RN Clinical Nurses Emergency Services are licensed knowledgeable and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implements the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association. As a member of the patient services team it is expected that the individual upholds the voice of the patient system policies and procedures while supporting service excellence goals.

requirement:

Night shift: 3PM to 3AM. Must be available to work varies days of the call: (2) 24hr call every 8 weeksWeekends: minimum every other : minimum 2 major 2 minor.*A completed Wellstar cover sheet required for each submission. *BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - InstructorRN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state CompactPALS - Pediatric Adv Life Support or ARC-PALS - Amer Red Cross Pediatric Advanced Life Support or PALS-I - PALS - Instructor or PALS-P - PALS-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 DaysTNCC - Trauma Nurse Core Course or ATCN - Adv Trauma Care for Nurses Cer or TNCC-P - Trauma Nurse Core Course - Provisional (18 Months) within 18 MonthsACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS - Amer Red Cross Advanced Life Support or ACLS-I - ACLS - Instructor or ACLS-P - ACLS-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 Days1 year experience
