Local/Hub Division ManagerYour role and responsibilities:
As the Plant Manager (or Manufacturing Unit Manager) for the Senatobia MS Electrification Smart Power facility you will have the opportunity to manage all aspects related to operations of the local manufacturing unit including the full scope of Production Engineering Procurement Quality Operational Excellence and Logistics. Each day you will ensure achievement of established targets by overseeing progress and define improvement actions as needed. You will also showcase your expertise by executing business unit/product group quality strategy.
Candidates for this role need to be able to work a daily schedule onsite in the Senatobia MS facility (#LI-Onsite). Domestic relocation assistance would be available for the ideal candidate.
This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division. Total scope of employees under indirect management for this position exceeds 1000 with a team of around a dozen onsite operations leaders as direct reports.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Implementing the global business unit/product group manufacturing strategy in the country within your area of responsibility.
Providing input on global business unit/product group strategy
Developing proactive strategies to increase business profits customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness.
Focusing on achievement of operating cash flow project on-time and on-cost Requested On-Time Delivery and cost reduction.
Qualifications for the role:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering required Masters/MBA strongly preferred.
7 years of experience leading either in Operations (preferred) Manufacturing and/or Production.
Related industry experience strongly preferred (electrification solar energy automotive etc.).
Possesses strong leadership skills at both a high level for general plant operations as well as a strong mentoring/coaching background when it comes to developing direct reports.
Fluency in English required Italian is not required but would be a strong plus with international collaboration.
Ability to maintain standard/minimal business travel (5-10%)
Candidates must already possess work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
