Description:
We are hiring for our client a global leader in materials processing solutions who are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their established Electrical Team based in Dungannon.

The Role:

As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer you will:
Design and develop 3 phase electrical control systems and technical documentation
Create and test PLC and HMI software (Allen Bradley & IFM Systems)
Write Functional Specifications and ensure accurate project documentation
Support new product development and continuous improvement projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative electrical solutions
Occasionally support equipment commissioning and on-site testing
Ensure compliance with all safety and industry standards

The Person:

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
Strong technical background in 3 phase electrical systems and automation
Skilled in PLC/HMI programming VFDs and control panel design (Zuken E3 / ePlan desirable)
Experience with industrial networks such as EtherNet IP CANbus and Modbus
Proven project management ability and analytical skills
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Self-motivated with some flexibility for occasional travel
