Senior School Leidschenveen (SSL) is looking for a temporary part-time TOK Teacher (0.4 - 0.6FTE). For the candidate with the right knowledge and experience there may be an opportunity to teach IBDP Psychology which would increase the FTE.
The start date for this role is from February 2026 until July 2026. You must already be living in the Netherlands and have a right to work.
The Role
To teach consistently good and engaging TOK lessons. ensuring the effective delivery of the TOK course to students. The TOK lessons play a crucial role in fostering critical thinking interdisciplinary understanding and reflective inquiry among students.
Key Responsibilities
Student Engagement: Teach engaging and thought-provoking TOK lessons discussions and activities that encourage students to explore and question knowledge.
Assessment Coordination: Support the assessment process for TOK including the planning of the TOK exhibition.
The Candidate
Experience of teaching TOK is essential as is flexibility.
This is a temporary cover for an established timetable of TOK lessons so candidates must have flexibility to be available for the lessons. The current TOK timetable spreads over week.
Experience guiding DP1 students through their TOK exhibition may be an advantage.
