What you will be doing in this role
This is a meaningful patient-facing role where your compassion customer service skills and attention to detail will truly make a vital administrative support by collating patient documentation and liaising closely with clinicians during the pre-admission process at our surgical centre. Following surgeryyoullbe a friendly and reassuring point of contact for patients and their families offering support through recovery and discharge.
This is a casual position providing cover for sick and annual leave with shifts available across day (9.00am5.30pm) and evening (12.00pm8.30pm). Flexibility to pick up shifts as needed will be important and your support will begreatly valuedby both the team and the patients we care for.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people and takes pride indeliveringaccurate high-quality work.
Experience in a similar healthcare setting is highly regarded as it meansyoullbe familiar with medical terminology and fast-paced clinical all youllbring a warm empathetic approach and a strong commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience.
- Strongproficiencyacross the Microsoft Office suite.
- Clear confident verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with well-developed analytical abilities.
- A positive can-do attitude that helps create a welcoming and reassuring experience for every patient.
