Job Summary

Job Description:

  • Preparation of management report of the results.
  • Develop tools for the variety of components automotive (electrical stamping plastics assembly testing and engineering development etc.).
  • Economic analysis of project competitiveness.
  • Economic validation of technical modifications.
  • Search for new opportunities to reduce costs.
  • Follow-up presentation and support activities
  • Risk analysis of macroeconomic variables.
  • Analyze part cost breakdown confirm breakdown data on technical visits to the supplier to calculate an objective price for the part. After this calculation create an argument list to help the purchasing department reduce the cost of parts. (COST);
  • Creation of an objective cost study for the part during the initial phase of the projects (Bottom up).
  • Analysis of supplier quotes during the project phase (SQA).
  • Propose technical product modifications and improvements to the suppliers production line.
  • Analyze price evolution due to technical modifications.
  • Perform comparative cost studies of Nissan parts and Benchmarking.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Cost basics and product / process optimization.
  • Advanced of costs and financial knowledge.
  • Organized with data.
  • Soft Skills: logical reasoning dynamism transversality assertive communication organization critical analysis financial knowledge priority setting.

Software Knowledge:

  • Microsoft Office - Advanced
  • Excel Advanced
  • Knowledge of design tools and desirable CAD / Solidworks.
  • PowerBI is a plus

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering.

Languages:

  • English - Fluent (Mandatory).

Local:

  • São Paulo

Travel:

  • Requires travel in nissan plant resende.
