Job Summary

Travel RN Respiratory Med-Surg 3 East Unit: 21-Bed Respiratory Med-Surg Shift: 36 hrs/week 7:00PM - 7:30AM Every other weekend required Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced 21-bed Respiratory Med-Surg unit that specializes in the care of pulmonary diseases. This high-acuity unit manages a complex patient population including those requiring continuous telemetry monitoring. Candidates must be comfortable working in a dynamic environment with rapid patient turnover and varying levels of care needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a diverse population of adult respiratory and medical-surgical patients Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes Float as needed within scope to similar Med-Surg units such as Wound Care Stroke Oncology Cardiac Observation and ED boarders. Qualifications: Active Ohio RN license Current BLS certification required Minimum 3 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry experience Proven ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips (competency test required on Day 1; failure of competency is grounds for immediate termination) EMR: Proficiency with Epic EMR is mandatory(no training or refreshers provided; lack of Epic proficiency is grounds for immediate termination) Additional Details: No on-call requirement Must be adaptable efficient and able to thrive in a high-volume setting Epic proficiency must be clearly documented in referral submission Candidates must meet all requirements at submission
