We are seeking either a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse for this opportunity.

This position is eligible for the following differentials:
Weekend $2 per hour (in addition to any applicable Evening or Night differentials)
Unit Registered Nurse
RNs with at least 1 year of experience are eligible for a $10000 sign on bonus.
The bonus will be paid out in two installments: the first pay check and after completion of one year of satisfactory employment. Please note that current University of Vermont Health Network employees are excluded from eligibility for this bonus.
Job Summary
The Unit RN performs services requiring substantial specialized knowledge judgment and skill for carrying out the nursing regimen in support of medical care based upon the principles of the biological physiological behavioral and social sciences.
Education
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required.

The salary range for Unit LPN is Min: $21.47 Mid: $26.83 Max: $32.20
An employment bonus of up to $7500 is available for an LPN for this role.
Bonus payment are subject to applicable taxes and will be paid out in three installments: after completion of satisfactory probationary period (generally 90 days) after 1 year and after 2 years of employment. Please note that current University of Vermont Health Network employees are excluded from eligibility for this bonus.

Memory Care is designed to meet the changing needs of individuals as they experience the progression of symptoms and increases in cognitive loss associated with a diagnosis of dementia. Our early-stage program offers activity-based care in a warm supportive and safe environment with a primary goal of helping individuals maintain dignity purpose and functional ability. This highly specialized unit is staffed with very dedicated advocates and team members. Residents in this unit are the most vulnerable usually unable to advocate for themselves.
