Your next opportunity awaits at BMW of Santa Monica. We are hiring a General Sales Manager to join our team!

The General Sales Manager is responsible for leading the dealerships sales operations to achieve volume gross profit and guest satisfaction objectives. This role provides strategic hands-on leadership across new and preowned sales desking inventory management and sales staff performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead coach and develop Sales Managers Floor Managers and sales staff to achieve sales volume gross profit and CSI targets.
  • Establish clear performance expectations monitor results and address gaps through coaching training and accountability.
  • Ensure consistent execution of structured sales process including lead management test drives and negotiations.
  • Promote the companys guest experience culture with professionalism and a focus on creating long-term guest relationships; ensure all sales practices align with company standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the General Manager and department leaders to align sales goals with overall dealership objectives.
  • Review and analyze sales reports KPIs and forecasts to drive data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in automotive dealership leadership
  • Strong understanding of dealership sales operations desking inventory management and Finance processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Solid business acumen with the ability to analyze financial and operational data.
  • Excellent communication leadership and decision-making skills
  • Previous experience with BMW strongly preferred.

Pay: $180000 to $350000 per year is the expected total annual earnings after factoring in all forms of compensation including salary commissions bonuses benefits (vacation and sick) etc. Employees in this position will be paid a base salary ranging from $96000 - $144000 per year. Commissions are expected to range from $84000 to $254000 per year based on performance.
