We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Schedule: Full-Time 1st Shift (8:00 AM 4:30 PM)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Decompose aircraft-level requirements into system and component-level requirements

• Develop analyze and validate Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) system designs and models

• Lead or support system and component certification activities including:

  • System Safety Analysis (SSA)

  • Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)

  • Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)

• Ensure traceability to regulatory requirements and resolve certification conflicts

• Perform and document system-level and component-level verification and validation testing

• Review supplier test plans reports and support test failure investigations and mitigations

• Support production and in-service fleet operations

• Collaborate cross-functionally with avionics aerodynamics safety software suppliers airline customers and regulators

• Develop technical solutions and issue dispositions to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Aerospace Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

• 5 7 years of professional experience working with flight control systems

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
