Job Summary
Hours of work: 28 hours and 20 minutes per week.
Working pattern: Part-time Term-time only (working for39weeks per year plus6.06weeks annual leave which will increase after 5 years continuous service.
As the position is part-time/term-time only the above salary will be pro rata.
Fixed term for: 18 months

Our school requires an Individual Needs Assistant to work with a child in Year 5 with an EHCP.
Working Hours: 8.40am - 15.20 pm.
The successful candidate will be a motivated and energetic individual who has a calm organised patient and professional approach to working with children. We would like a cheerful reliable flexible and hardworking individual.
The successful candidate will have:
An interest and passion for supporting children;
A commitment to inclusion for all within a mainstream setting;
Belief in supporting every child to be the best that they can be
Speech and language training
Sensory training desirable
Social skills/nurture training desirable
Start Date: As soon as possible

The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision. Accordingly the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.
If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2018 Regulations the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.
