The University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) is accepting applications for the position of Creative Content Producer Football Graphics. This is a contract full-time position with a targeted annual salary range of $78500.00 - $82425.00 with full health benefits and membership in the UC Retirement Plan. Under the supervision of the Director of New Media Football the Creative Content Producer Football Graphics will play a key role in developing executing and evaluating the football programs recruiting and brand-building visual content strategy. This position is responsible for creating high-quality graphics and digital assets to support recruiting efforts and overall program promotion including concept development design and collaboration on photoshoots and content captures. The incumbent must consistently adhere to the departments identity and branding standards while helping elevate and maintain the football programs visual identity across all platforms. This role will collaborate closely with athletics communications recruiting staff coaches and other department personnel to ensure content is effectively distributed and optimized for use across social media digital marketing campaigns and other communication channels. The position must operate in full compliance with all university NCAA and Conference rules and regulations including conference media rights policies.
All applicants should demonstrate the following abilities: Bachelors degree in communications marketing graphic design or related field; Minimum two years of experience in social media management as well as sports marketing promotion and/or web development; Experience working with video editing programs; Experience establishing and/or growing a social media brand voice and presence especially in sports is preferred; Mastery of Adobe Photoshop and a portfolio of visually impressive graphics; Knowledge of digital multimedia editing systems such as Adobe Creative Cloud; An ability to create dozens of unique graphics per week and hit aggressive deadlines; Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities; Demonstrated firsthand experience creating content via graphic design and/or photography skills; Very strong verbal and written communication skills including copywriting and editing knowledge; Strong technical background with advanced computer skills; Ability to work independently and as a member of a team; Ability to work extended hours including weekends and holidays with the potential to travel regularly; Ability to follow NCAA Conference University and Departmental rules and regulations; Understanding of social media strategy and best practices on platforms including but not limited to Facebook Twitter and Instagram; Knowledge of developing and executing a compelling and effective social media strategy across multiple platforms; Knowledge of online monitoring and measurement platforms including but not limited to Facebook Insights Twitter Insights Google Analytics HootSuite TweetDeck and Social Mention is preferred; Self-starter with a tenacious work ethic and professionally curious personality is preferred.
