Role description:
Arcadis is looking for a joung Junior Project Specialist to join our Environmental Remediation team in Milan. This role offers the opportunity to take on key responsibilities in the coordination and delivery of soil and site characterization projects for major clients in the industrial energy and logistics sectors.
Role accountabilities:
- Coordinate environmental project tasks including site investigations laboratory data management and technical documentation
- Conduct site visits and interface directly with contractors suppliers and client representatives
- Manage project timelines resources and reporting activities ensuring projects stay on track and meet quality standards
- Prepare and review health & safety documentation and ensure compliance with national legislation and client requirements
- Support senior professionals in client meetings and project presentations
- Collaborate in the drafting and finalization of technical reports including data analysis and risk assessment
Qualifications & Experience:
- A degree in Engineering Geology Environmental Sciences or related discipline;
- Around 13 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting project management or site supervision;
- Knowledge of Italian environmental and health & safety regulations (.152/06 . 81/08);
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic data analysis tools; experience with GIS or lab software is a plus
- A good level of Italian and English (B2 or above)
