Job Summary
Safety Care: Re-Certification Training February vacationThis curriculum is designed to provide skills and competencies necessary to effectively prevent minimize and manage behavioral challenges for staff working with students who exhibit disruptive behaviors. Staff will learn skills to prevent a crisis respond to a crisis and intervene during and after a crisis to prevent the chances of re-occurrence. Participants should be aware that certification is good for one year and they must re-certify yearly. This is highly recommended for those staff working with student populations experiencing social-emotional and behavioral challenges. The Re-Certification training is for those participants who have been trained in Safety Care within the past year and have not gone beyond their 90-day grace period. Trainers can take up to 20 participants for this session.
