Esri has a Relocation Assistance Program and can provide support with relocating to the Redlands CA area for this position.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of the Field Apps team to develop test and release mobile and web apps (Field Maps Navigator)
- Assess product quality and release readiness
- Identify and troubleshoot the causes of product issues and limitations
- Be an advocate for the customer and represent their workflows in product design and delivery
- Work with product teams across ArcGIS to influence upcoming development
- Evaluate and provide feedback on new software designs through design and implementation reviews
- Write and present conceptual topics blog articles and step-by-step tutorials geared towards GIS staff or mobile workers to aid in the deployment of our apps
Requirements
- 2 years of experience with Esri products such as working knowledge of ArcGIS Pro Enterprise and/or Online
- Experience using and deploying Esri Field Apps (such as Field Maps Survey 123 Navigator Quick Capture)
- Experience applying fundamental concepts in modern software languages such as Python or JavaScript
- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Passion and ability to deliver quality work in a timely and efficient manner in teams or individually
- Bachelors degree in GIS computer science or a related field
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven ability to define manage and deliver geospatial solutions
- Prior experience with software development and release of commercial software products
- Masters degree in GIS computer science or a related field
