What you will do

PGIMs Private Credit Conferences & Events Team is seeking an experienced Corporate Events and Meeting Planner (Associate Manager level) that will be accountable for the program management of mid-sized domestic and international conferences ranging in size from 50 to 200 attendees. These programs mostly internal support the cultural enrichment team building and skills development of the Private Credit Investment Professionals and functional teams.

This position is based in our office in Chicago IL and will follow a hybrid schedule (3 days in office).

What you can expect

  • Lead the planning and execution of logistics for mid-sized multi-day conferences and training programs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strategically determine meeting locations timing of events based on business plans oversee venue procurement and contract execution.
  • Negotiate and execute hotel and vendor contracts with supervision from the Director of Conferences & Events.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines pertaining to meetings and conferences.
  • Agenda and concept development in partnership with Investment Professional host using industry best-practices and PPC standards.
  • On-site program management to include overseeing staff and vendors
  • Strategic management of program finances from initiation to final bill reconciliation approval and payment
  • Additional conference planning tasks may include project schedule creation venue procurement sleeping room management meeting room layouts menu development registration management attendee correspondence transportation management Destination Management Company (DMC) coordination reporting mobile app development activity development and other tasks or projects as needed.

What you will bring

  • 5 years of experience independently leading complex multiday corporate conferences serving as the primary project manager from planning through execution.
  • Experience with Cvent Cvent Crowd Compass/Attendee Hub Excel and event project management tools
  • Proven experience managing events volunteers and vendors including to (but not limited to) negotiating hotel and vendor contracts and delivering a whiteglove attendee experience.
  • Highly organized with strong projectmanagement and negotiation skills; able to balance multiple events at varying stages and make sound prioritization decisions.
  • Collaborative team player who supports colleagues during highvolume periods.
  • Willing to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally and work occasional evenings/weekends for onsite event support.

  • Experience in Financial Services preferred
  • Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) designation a plus.
  • Willingness to work closely with project teams and mentor junior staff.
  • Budget planning experience and an eye for strategic cost savings
  • Ability to develop and deliver strong and articulate written and verbal communications.
  • Diplomatic business acumen and excellent solution-oriented customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
