MetaPhase is seeking ahandson Top Architect / Lead Developer to lead the modernization and sustainment of a missioncritical national security system. This is a playercoach role for a senior technologist who enjoys designing robust solutions writing code and guiding a team through complex technical challenges.
You will play a key role in translating complex mission requirements into scalable secure and maintainable applications using technologies while helping shape the future technical direction of the program.
What You Will Be Doing
- Interpret complex business and mission requirements to design develop and /MVC applications
- Serve as technical lead for a team developers providing guidance code reviews and architectural direction
- Design build test and maintain enterprisegrade software applications and components
- Support the modernization and sustainment of a missioncritical system in a fastpaced national security environment
- Implement and continuously improve Agile development practices
- Contribute to an innovation roadmap that advances the programs technical capabilities and longterm sustainability
What We Need From You (Required)
- Active Top Secret clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
- 810 years of experience in software development and architecture using technologies (MVC)
- Proven experience designing and leading enterprisescale application architectures
- Strong understanding of objectoriented design (OOD) and modern software engineering principles
- Ability to collaborate with influence and communicate effectively across a diverse set of technical and mission stakeholders
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
Bonus Points (Preferred)
- Formal training or advanced coursework in .NET programming best practices
- Experience modernizing or sustaining legacy enterprise systems
- Prior work in national security or federal environments
- Work Setup:
- Onsite in Washington DC (hybrid possible)
