Job Summary

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber or Master Plumber to join this role you will be responsible for installing repairing and maintaining plumbing systems across various construction sites and commercial projects with a primary focus on new construction. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing systems meet safety standards adhere to blueprints and function efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects develop your mechanical knowledge and contribute to high-quality building infrastructure.

Duties

Install repair and maintain plumbing systems including pipes fixtures and appliances on construction sites and commercial properties
Read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical drawings to execute precise installations
Use hand tools power tools pipe threading equipment and welding techniques to complete plumbing tasks effectively
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance
Collaborate with carpenters HVAC technicians and other trades to coordinate project timelines and specifications
Assist in remodeling assembly and field service tasks as needed to support project completion

Experience

Proven construction site experience with a focus on plumbing installation and maintenance
Demonstrated knowledge of construction plumbing practices and schematics reading
Skilled in welding pipe threading and working with various hand tools and power tools
Familiarity with HVAC systems mechanical knowledge and basic math for measurements and calculations
Experience in remodeling projects or handyman work is a plus
Ability to operate commercial vehicles for site access or material transport is desirable
Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting prolonged standing and working in confined spaces
