Job Summary
Housekeeper. Priesty Fields Care Home
- Hourly Rate: £12.26 per hour
- Contracted Hours: 28.5 hours per week
- Shifts: 8am-4pm
Join the team at Priesty Fields Care Home part of Sandstone Care Group and help create a clean comfortable and welcoming environment for our residents. Located in the heart of Congleton Priesty Fields is a beautifully designed care home committed to providing exceptional residential and nursing care.
As a Housekeeper you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our home ensuring it is a safe and pleasant space for our residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Cleaning: Maintain all areas of the home to an impeccable standard including resident rooms communal spaces and staff areas.
- Infection Control: Follow strict cleaning protocols to ensure compliance with infection control standards.
- Laundry Management: Assist in managing the laundry service including washing drying ironing and organizing resident garments and linens.
- Stock Control: Monitor and manage cleaning and laundry supplies ensuring the home is always fully stocked.
- Event Preparation: Support staff by preparing spaces for events activities and family visits creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Team Support: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and adaptability to the home’s needs.
What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for enthusiastic reliable and hardworking individuals with:
- Previous housekeeping cleaning or laundry experience in a professional or domestic setting
- Strong attention to detail and an understanding of hygiene and infection control standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive and flexible approach to work

*Overtime is paid for working over fulltime hours. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘STREAM’.
