The Opportunity

Bay Building Services is seeking an experienced Manager who will be responsible for leading a team of Claims Coordinators each assigned to a specific direct insurer portfolio. The role involves overseeing the operational management of BAU claim inflows ensuring accuracy and quality across claim registration triage customer contact assessment booking specialist trade allocation assessment submission authorisations issues of contract and excess follow up of quote with client and contract & excess.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing day-to-day leadership coaching and performance oversight to the BAU Claims team
  • Ensuring claims are processed in accordance with contractual regulatory and PDS requirements
  • Monitoring workflow volumes and KPIs to ensure timely progression of claims
  • Supporting the development and implementation of streamlined processes and improved operational efficiency
  • Building strong working relationships with insurer partners internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Maintaining high levels of professionalism customer service and governance across all BAU claims activities

About You

  • Strong claims management experience within an insurance builder insurer or related operational environment
  • Proven capability in leading teams or contributing to team development
  • Excellent communication time management and problem-solving skills
  • A commitment to accuracy customer experience and continuous improvement
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Sound understanding of PDS requirements insurer expectations and front-end claims processes
