Summary
- Overall in charge of maintenance engineering works for manufacturing line.
- To manage supervise and develop maintenance engineering teams.
- To maintain and deploy company policies.
- Keep all company machines and equipment in good and reliable state.
Job Description
- To keep up preventive maintenance predictive maintenance and corrective maintenance for all production machinery and equipment to eliminate or minimize breakdown To improve production machine reliability
- To discuss/review & evaluate overall plant activities with subordinate & coordinate with the production department for machine utilization and production output
- Conduct special meetings with his subordinates to establish good communication and relationship
- To coordinate with other departments in meetings and modify machine & equipment to minimize defects and improve quality of products
- Responsible for the training of new engineers or supervisors to control the teams to ensure all maintenance engineering work & projects are completed on schedule in accordance with specification and good workmanship
- To lead engineering activities modification and project to meet timeline budget and quality of work
- To perform other duties related to job as assigned
- To manage and control sections budget to meet forecast
- To develop strategies and provide directions to all subordinates provide training whenever required
- To implement continuous improvement concept and activities
- To initiate cost saving concept and program in the engineering team
- To responsible for safety in the workplace and safety of direct report staff
- To develop subordinate and team for multiskilling and knowledge
- To be responsible for monitoring and evaluating direct reports for compliance with workplace safety and environment policy
- Emphasize company environment health and safety rules and regulations to employees and ensure compliance
- Ensure that all accidents & near miss are reported to management and injured are given proper treatment
- Investigate all accidents & near miss and make necessary reports and recommendations.
- Take disciplinary action on any safety violation in consultation with safety officer and or Human Resource Manager
- To responsible for Safety in the workplace and safety of direct report staff (if any)
- To responsible for monitoring and evaluating direct reports (if any) for compliance to workplace safety and environmental policy
- Emphasize company environment health and safety rules and regulations to employees and ensure compliance
- Ensure that all accidents & near miss are reported to management and/or direct supervisor and injured are given proper treatment
- For Supervisory level employees investigate all accidents & near miss and make necessary reports and recommendations
- For Supervisory level employees take disciplinary actions on any safety violation in consultation with Safety Officer and or Human Resource Manager
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in mechanical/electrical/industrial/engineer or related fields
- Minimum 8 years working experience in plant maintenance in a large manufacturing environment
- Competency in electrical power instrument control and project management is advantageous
- Strong leadership and excellent communication skills
- A team player able to fit into a challenging multi-national company
- Native Thai and professional English (verbal and written) skill is required for the role
