In this dynamic environment we are looking for an ambitious and self-drivenSeniorAssociate to join our Governance RiskComplianceand Internal Audit (GRC & IA) Consulting team in Athens.
Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations across various sectors( RetailConsumer GoodsConstruction Pharmaceuticals)
Work in a team towards the efficient andtimelydelivery of client engagements taking ownership for one or more workstreams/assignments
Application of common sense / commercial awareness / knowledge obtained during the project to assess the quality and reliability of information supplied
Initiate and lead open conversations with teamsclientsand stakeholders to build trust
Build andmaintainstrong relationships with key client contacts
Participate in proposal development efforts for client engagement opportunities
Contribute to an environment where people and technology thrive together
What you bring matters
Three (3) to six (6)years of professional experience in Internal Audit Risk ManagementComplianceor related advisory roles preferably within a Big4 or similar consulting environment
Bachelors /Mastersdegree from a top-tier university in Business Administration Management Finance Accounting Economics or another related field(degree in Internal Audit or Risk Management will be considered an advantage)
A relevant professional qualification (CIA CRMA etc.) will be considered as an advantage
Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing in a clearconciseand professional manner (both in English and Greek)
Excellent computer skills proficient use of MS Office (Excel PowerPoint etc.)
Experience with data analysis tools such as AlteryxPowerBI Tableau ACL QlikView or similar will be considered as an advantage
A confident and positive attitude focused on teamwork and communication with colleagues and clients at all levels
Ability to synthesize multiple and disparate sources of information into a coherent and compelling point of view
Proven experience in planningexecutingand reporting internal audit engagements (riskbased approach scoping fieldwork reporting followup)
Solid knowledge of internal control frameworks () and internal audit standards (IIA) with the ability to assess the design and operating effectiveness of controls
Handson experience in documenting and evaluating business processes and controls ( flowcharts narratives control matrices)
Strong understanding of key business cycles (Purchase-to-Pay Order-to-Cash Record-to-Report Payroll Inventory Treasury) and related risks and controls
Ability to draft clearconciseand insightful audit findings and recommendations and to present them to clients management
Experience in supervising and coaching junior team members reviewing their working papers and providing feedback
Experience in managing daytoday client interactions and contributing to the maintenance of strong client relationships
