We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager for a two-year contract to lead and grow the group business for Le Germain Hotel Toronto Mercer and Le Germain Hotel Toronto Maple Leaf Square. This role is responsible for proactively identifying developing and managing high-value group and corporate accounts while driving long-term revenue growth across both properties. Working with a high level of autonomy the BDM builds trusted partnerships with clients industry partners and internal teams to optimize occupancy maximize revenues and deliver tailored high-touch service that reflects the Germain experience.
**please note that this is a two year contract**
WHAT YOULL DO
- Manage incoming group requiests and ensure timely and professional follow-ups with clients
- Prepare customized proposals based on client needs and hotel capacity
- Work closely with internal teams (front desk banquet operations) to ensure the success of group stays and events of both properties
- Actively prospect and develop new partnerships within target markets
- Conduct post-stay follow-ups to measure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
- Enter and maintain accurate date in the CRM to ensure proper tracking and data consistency
- Collaborate with the regional sales team to support local marketing initiatives and enhance the hotels visibility
- Achieve sales and performance objectives set by management.
- Represent Germain Hotels at trade shows and promotional event.
WHAT YOULL BRING
- Education in hospitality management sales marketing or a related field.
- Previous experience in hotel group sales is mandatory
- Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong organizational skills initiative and autonomy.
- Knowledge of Opera Cloud PMS and CRM systems is an asset.

The salary range for this role is between 55 000$ and 75 000$ plus bonus depending on experience qualifications and internal equity.
This position is a two-year fixed-term contract to cover a maternity leave.
