We are hiring Advanced Specialist Pharmacist Clinical Trials into our Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
Provide advanced professional leadership for the Clinical Trials Pharmacy service aligned with FIP Advanced Level II standards.
Ensure the safe effective and compliant management of investigation medicinal products (IMPs) in line with GCP EU Clinical Trials Regulations and hospital policies.
Lead the introduction oversight and close-out of cancer clinical trials ensuring full regulatory and governance compliance.
Act as a specialist clinical resource advising investigators pharmacists and multidisciplinary teams on trial medicines and protocols.
Liaise with HPRA sponsors CROs and CRAs and prepare for and manage GCP inspections and follow-up actions.
Develop implement and review policies SOPs and pharmacy trial documentation ensuring audit readiness and quality assurance.
Manage and supervise pharmacy staff involved in clinical trials optimising resources and service delivery.
Lead risk management incident investigation and medication safety initiatives to protect patient safety.
Drive education training audit research and quality improvement promoting evidence-based practice within the organisation.
Demonstrate flexibility to support on-call services extended hours and evolving service needs as required.
Requirements
Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
Hold a Diploma or MSc in Clinical Pharmacy or Pharmacy Practice.
Possess a minimum of four years post-registration hospital experience including at least two years in the relevant specialty at an advanced level.
Demonstrated expertise in clinical pharmacy practice within an acute hospital setting.
Strong experience in staff supervision training and professional development.
Excellent understanding of pharmacy education and training frameworks.
Proven knowledge of financial management including drug expenditure monitoring and reporting.
Experience in risk management medication safety and governance processes.
Ability to lead and contribute to interdisciplinary committees service management and change initiatives.
Additional experience in interdisciplinary team leadership and project management is desirable
