We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 - Mental Health to a hospital in Dublin. Permanent Full time.
Responsibilities
Provide ongoing strategic and operational leadership in line with national legislation regulatory requirements and best-practice standards.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing services that promote excellence in patient care safety and clinical outcomes.
Maintain the highest levels of compliance with all regulatory frameworks including Health & Safety and Risk Management standards.
Act as an effective and visible leader with the expertise to plan implement and sustain operational change within the nursing service.
Work collaboratively with residents families carers and staff to support person-centred goal setting and care planning.
Actively participate in the multidisciplinary healthcare team fostering cooperation and effective communication across all disciplines.
Ensure all nursing practices procedures and policies align with the organisations service objectives and strategic plans
Requirements
Be a Registered Psychiatric Nurse registered with An Bord Altranais/NMBI or eligible for registration.
Possess a minimum of five years post-qualification experience including at least two years at Clinical Nurse Manager 1 level.
Have relevant experience in a healthcare or hospital setting including acute mental health services.
Clinical experience in palliative care is desirable.
Demonstrate a high level of clinical managerial and administrative competence appropriate to a senior nursing role.
Have proven experience in staff management budgetary control and workforce planning.
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Mental Health Commission standards leadership principles and clinical governance structures.
Show clinical experience of working effectively within multidisciplinary teams with a strong understanding of clinical governance concepts and operations.
Demonstrate the ability to lead educate and support students and registered nurses actively contributing to practice education training and professional development.
Have a thorough understanding of health safety and statutory regulations impacting healthcare organisations.
Provide evidence of ongoing continuing professional and personal development (CPD).
