What will you be doing

In this role you will take responsibility for driving and improving configuration management processes across both customer projects and product development activities. You ensure that development integration and testing take place in a structured controlled and efficient environment. You will also play a key role in supporting CI/CD activities and providing configuration management expertise to engineering and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain structured work environments supporting efficient development integration and testing

• Continuously improve configuration management (CM) processes and documentation

• Identify and implement automation opportunities within CM workflows

• Support engineering and project teams with CM expertise throughout planning execution and delivery

• Provide tooling guidance and support to engineering teams

• Promote and embed Ways of Working across teams

• Define track and report on key CM performance indicators (KPIs)

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives

What do we ask from you

• Bachelors or Masters degree in ICT Software Engineering or a related field

• At least 5 years of experience in a software development environment

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Proactive eager to learn and solutionoriented

• Creative thinker with a helicopter view and a handson mindset

Preferred technical expertise:

• Atlassian tools (JIRA Bitbucket Bamboo)

• Artifactory and PLM systems (e.g. Dassault Enovia)

• Dependency management tools such as Maven or Gradle

• Python scripting

• CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance

• Requirement and test management tooling (e.g. Polarion)

This domain is highly innovative fastmoving and central to Vanderlandes global success. You will collaborate with dedicated experts across engineering software and project execution teams.

This position offers a competitive salary range of 5.400 to 6.400 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
