Job Title: Executive - Supply Chain
Location - Karnataka - Bangalore
Department/Group: Supply Chain Position Reports to
Group Manager - Supply Chain
Responsibility:
Inventory Planning: Planning safety stock levels across the regional distribution centers and billing depots. Monitor the levels and plan timely replenishments. Periodically monitor slow or non-moving inventory and plan for the consumption.
Distribution planning: Planning the accurate distribution of produced goods across the country to ensure nil stock outs and at the same time avoiding the piling of excess inventory.
Coordination: Coordinate with stakeholders such as factory dispatch teams DC and depot teams demand/production planners sales and marketing teams for various activities.
Logistics: Managing optimum primary freight spent avoid detention. Coordinate with freight providers for efficiency cost and tracking speed up delivery time alternate delivery routes or negotiate quicker turnarounds.
Demand Anticipation: Anticipate demand by constantly analyzing the sales trend and very close interactions with the field sales team regional logistic teams.
Capacity availability: Assess the existing storage capabilities and plan case of crisis research possible solutions to store the items that will meet budget security and location needs.
Identifying and acting on areas for operational improvement and supply chain cost reduction
Responsible for the forecast and product availability through weekly stock replenishment
Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
Evaluation and report on KPIs
Desired skillets:
Strong experience in Inventory Management
Progressive experience in Supply Chain management
Experience in Logistics and distribution
Capability to meet tight deadlines and a positive attitude
Knowledge of Statistical analysis
Proficient in MS Office tools
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (i.e. VLOOKUP pivot tables SUMIFs etc.)
Experience in Data collection analysis MIS and reporting
Skills/Qualifications:
MBA would be preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain
Good communication skills
