About the Role
We are seeking a CMO Manager to oversee and optimize the performance of our Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) responsible for kitting assembly packaging and distribution. This role ensures high-quality service delivery cost effectiveness and operational excellence across our external manufacturing and fulfillment network.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day relationships with kitting and distribution CMOs.
Monitor CMO performance KPIs capacity and service levels.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate production schedules material availability and fulfillment activities.
Partner with Quality Planning and Logistics teams to resolve issues.
Support new product launches configuration updates and process changes.
Identify cost savings and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Operations Business or related field.
35 years of experience managing CMOs 3PLs manufacturing or distribution partners.
Experience in kitting packaging or assembly operations preferred.
Strong vendor-management communication and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with quality systems (e.g. ISO GMP) a plus.
ERP/WMS experience preferred.
Microsoft / G-suite experience required (Excel Powerpoint etc..)
Hybrid Work Model: This section is applicable to onsite employees who are eligible for hybrid work location as specified by management and related policies. Guardant has defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays Tuesdays and Thursdays.
