About the Internship

As a Software Developer Intern you will work closely with the core engineering team to help build and enhance the Rekart platform.

This internship is designed to give you practical exposure to real-world product development best engineering practices and a strong foundation for a full-time software development role.

High-performing interns may be considered for full-time opportunities based on performance and business needs.

What You Will Do

• Assist in developing server-side logic APIs and application features
  

• Work on core business logic under guidance from senior engineers
  

• Support maintenance and enhancement of existing APIs and modules
  

• Write clean readable and testable code
  

• Learn and follow best practices for performance security and scalability
  

• Participate in code reviews team discussions and sprint planning
  

• Gain exposure to the full software development lifecycle of a SaaS product
  

About You (The Ideal Intern)

You are enthusiastic about backend or full-stack development and excited to learn how large-scale web applications are built. You enjoy problem-solving are curious by nature and are eager to grow as a developer in a startup environment.

Must Haves

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
  

• Basic knowledge of PHP (Laravel preferred) or willingness to learn
  

• Understanding of REST APIs and backend fundamentals
  

• Familiarity with MySQL or relational databases
  

• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript
  

• Understanding of OOP concepts and basic design principles
  

• Willingness to learn modern engineering practices like Git code reviews and testing
  

• Good communication skills and ability to learn from feedback
  

Nice to Haves

• Exposure to Angular / React /
  

• Basic knowledge of TypeScript
  

• Internship or academic project experience in web development
  

• Familiarity with GitHub/GitLab
  

• Interest in SaaS products and startup culture
