Job Summary
As a Custom Software Engineer you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve coding enhancing components and collaborating with team members to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions using modern frameworks and agile practices. You will also participate in discussions to address challenges and contribute to the overall success of the projects you are involved in.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and Incident Management: Monitor CICS region in Production and respond to incidents promptly to minimize downtime and impact on users.
- Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis: Identify and troubleshoot issues perform root cause analysis to determine the cause of problems.
- Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with development teams and vendors to resolve complex issues and implement fixes in production to prevent recurrence.
- Documentation and Knowledge Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of production systems processes and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
- Change Management and Release Coordination: Coordinate with development teams to Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of production systems processes and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and test and implement changes to production systems ensuring minimal disruption to users.
- Security and Compliance: Provide timely and transparent communication to stakeholders on production issues planned maintenance and system performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency reduce downtime and enhance overall quality.
- Collaborate with business risk and compliance teams during audits and incidents
- Support disaster recovery (DR) planning drills and failover testing
- Ensure system resilience scalability and security compliance
- High availability and zero-downtime support for critical banking services
- Strict SLA regulatory and audit compliance
- Secure handling of financial data and transactions
- Strong incident communication and stakeholder management
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in VisionPLUS.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies.
- Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development tools.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in VisionPLUS.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
