Job Summary
- Develop and produce high-quality news content optimized for digital platforms
- Script and edit news stories with a focus on clarity impact and audience engagement
- Package political and international news into multimedia formats (e.g. video audio interactive graphics)
- Collaborate with journalists editors and designers to ensure cohesive storytelling
- Monitor breaking news and adapt content strategies in real time
- Ensure accuracy editorial standards and compliance with organizational guidelines
Requirements
- Proven experience in news production digital content creation or journalism
- Strong writing scripting and editing skills with a keen eye for detail
- Experience in multimedia storytelling including video audio and interactive formats
- Familiarity with digital publishing platforms and content management systems
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of political and international affairs is highly desirable
Required Skills:
Requirements 2 years of experience in graphic design and video editing preferably in the fashion beauty or lifestyle industry. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator Premiere Pro After Effects etc.). Strong understanding of design principles typography and color theory. Experience in creating short-form video content (Instagram Reels TikTok YouTube Shorts). Knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment meet deadlines and adapt to brand needs. A portfolio showcasing your best work in graphic design and video editing.
