ServiceNow QA Analyst ITSM ITOM Modules
Sr Test Analyst - ServiceNow background
Location - Toronto Downtown - Hybrid - Work from office - 3 days/ week
Responsibilities:
1. Plan design and execute test cases for ServiceNow (ITSM ITOM) modules which will include enhancements configurations and integrations
2. Develop comprehensive and well-structured test plans test cases and test suites.
3. Support and contribute to automated testing where applicable including regression and repeatable test scenarios
4. Validate ServiceNow workflows catalog items forms scripts and integrations against documented requirements
5. Perform thorough regression integration end-to-end and functional testing.
6. Identify document and track defects through resolution working closely with development teams
7. Utilize automated testing tools to design create enhance and execute automated test scripts.
8. Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement sprint planning and retrospectives
9. Collaborate with Business Analysts to ensure requirements are testable and clearly understood
10. Ensure testing aligns with enterprise quality standards and release management processes
11. Create and support testing documentation including test plans test cases test scripts and execution results
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree (BE) in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
Experience -
1. Overall 8 years of experience working as Test Analyst
2. Minimum 5 years of experience working as a ServiceNow QA Analyst with a strong focus on manual testing and good exposure to automated testing
3. Hands-on experience testing ServiceNow ITSM ITOM configurations workflows and integrations
4. Experience working with multiple ServiceNow modules particularly those listed above - ITSM ITOM.
5. Strong understanding of QA methodologies test case design and defect management
6. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
7. Experience working with various SDLC methodologies (Agile DevOps Waterfall).
8. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify edge cases and potential risks
9. Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly document findings
11. Nice to have - ITIL certified ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) Certification
