Job Summary
Role Descriptions: Key Responsibilities
Azure Infrastructure Cloud Operations
Design deploy and manage Azure infrastructure using:
o Virtual Machines (Windows Linux)
o Azure App Services
o Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
o Azure Virtual Desktop (optional)
Configure and manage Azure subscriptions resource groups and management groups
Ensure high availability disaster recovery and business continuity across environments
Networking Connectivity
Design and manage Azure networking components:
o Virtual Networks (VNet) Subnets
o Network Security Groups (NSG)
o Azure Load Balancer Application Gateway Azure Front Door
Implement hybrid connectivity:
o Site-to-Site VPN
o Point-to-Site VPN
o Azure ExpressRoute
Troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues
Security Identity Compliance
Implement identity and access management using:
o Azure Active Directory (Entra ID)
o RBAC and Managed Identities
Secure workloads using:
o Azure Firewall
o Azure Defender / Microsoft Defender for Cloud
o Azure Key Vault
Apply security baselines policies and blueprints
Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards (e.g. BFSI ISO SOC2)
Automation Infrastructure as Code
Implement infrastructure automation using ARM templates Bicep and/or Terraform
Automate provisioning scaling patching and recovery
Develop CICD pipelines using Azure DevOps GitHub Actions
Promote DevOps and GitOps best practices
Monitoring Performance Cost Management
Configure and manage Azure Monitor Log Analytics Application Insights
Proactively monitor system health performance and availability
Perform capacity planning and cost optimization using Azure Cost Management
Support incident problem and change management processes
Collaboration Support
Work closely with application teams security teams and architects
Provide L2/L3 production support for Azure environments
Participate in architecture reviews and cloud migration initiatives
Document architecture procedures and operational runbooks
