Introduction
ITBM is seeking a qualified Generator Technician to support power generation operations in Southern Poland. This role requires experienced technicians with technical competence in generator operations adherence to Safe System of Work (SSoW) procedures and the ability to operate and maintain generators within a multi-set power station environment.

Position Summary
The Generator Technician is responsible for the safe operation maintenance and troubleshooting of compression ignition generators operating as part of a multi-set power station. The role involves conducting preventive and corrective maintenance supporting uninterrupted power supply and ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with ITBM procedures OEM requirements and Safe System of Work (SSoW) regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain compression ignition generating sets within a multi-set power station environment.
Perform routine inspections servicing and preventive maintenance in accordance with OEM guidelines.
Diagnose faults carry out repairs and support system restoration activities.
Ensure compliance with Safe System of Work (SSoW) electrical safety rules and site procedures.
Act as a Skilled and/or Competent Person under SSoW when appointed.
Accurately complete maintenance logs fault reports and operational documentation.
Support supervisors in planned maintenance activities and system upgrades.
Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure tools and equipment are used safely and correctly.
Participate in training drills and safety briefings as required.
Qualifications
Experience
Minimum of five (5) years experience operating and maintaining generators as part of a multi-set power station.
Certifications / Training
Valid certificate of competency and technical training from a course approved by the generator OEM (not less than five years old).
Appointed as a Skilled and/or Competent Person in accordance with the Safe System of Work (SSoW).
Formal training in Safe System of Work (SSoW) completed within the last three (3) years.
Skills and Abilities
Technical knowledge of diesel/compression ignition generators and associated auxiliary systems.
Proven ability to fault-find repair and maintain power generation equipment.
Good understanding of mechanical and electrical safety procedures.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a technical team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
Proficient in English with the ability to complete technical documentation and communicate effectively.

Required Skills:
Prior experience in NATO or defense-related projects. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to dynamic environments.
Required Education:
Citizen of a NATO member state (mandatory). Native Ukrainian speaker or certified Ukrainian language proficiency (CEFR C1 or higher). Excellent command of English (TOEIC 850 or equivalent). Minimum of three (3) years professional experience as a translator/interpreter in a similar environment. Proven experience in technical/military translation and interpretation. Strong understanding of military terminology and procedures. Minimum NATO SECRET clearance (mandatory).
