What Youll Do:
- Develop and grow customer relationships in the commercial and industrial sectors
- Promote and sell dock equipment and overhead door systems
- Travel to customer sites to gather specs and provide accurate customized quotes
- Prepare and present proposals close deals and meet revenue goals
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Track industry trends competitor activity and new product developments
- Maintain accurate sales activity records and forecasts
- Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and follow-through
What You Need:
- Proven sales experiencedock & door industry experience strongly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints bid packages and site specs
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Excellent communication presentation and organizational skills
- Technical understanding of dock and door systems and components
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or related field (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel
