Job Description:
This role is well suited to someone who is comfortable running operational workflows end to end enjoys improving processes and takes responsibility for ensuring people systems and execution are aligned.
Youll own the day-to-day operational running of the business covering people operations payment operations internal processes and operational finance oversight. Youll work closely with founders and senior team members gradually removing operational dependency on them by introducing clarity structure and repeatable ways of working.
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on consistency reliability and execution not a board-level or purely strategic position.
Your daily adventures include:
- Owning the day-to-day operations of the business across teams and functions.
- Ensuring operational workflows (payments reconciliations refunds onboarding internal approvals) run smoothly and consistently.
- Introducing clear processes ownership and documentation across operational activities.
- Monitoring operational risks bottlenecks and dependencies and addressing them early.
- Supporting operational finance activities such as reconciliations cash flow visibility and expense control in partnership with finance leads.
- Establishing simple operating rhythms (weekly check-ins reporting follow-ups).
- Maintaining clear role definitions responsibilities and accountability across teams.
- Supporting hiring onboarding and performance management from an operational perspective.
- Preparing the business operationally for audits reviews and future scale.
- Keeping operational records documentation and controls organised and up to date.
- Supporting continuous improvement of systems and workflows as the business grows.
