Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of SaaS apps. You will be the key person managing internal app development teams ensuring projects are delivered on time within scope and budget and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on role requiring strong communication strong project management skills and a solid understanding of SaaS product development cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Delivery: Lead end-to-end project planning execution and delivery for SaaS development projects ensuring they are completed on schedule within budget and to defined quality standards.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the primary facilitator of communication and workflow between Development Product Management Marketing and Support teams. Drive alignment remove obstacles and accelerate project momentum.
Project Governance: Create maintain and manage comprehensive project documentation including project charters detailed plans schedules scope documents and regular status reports.
Risk & Resource Management: Proactively monitor project progress dependencies and resource allocation. Identify potential risks and issues early and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Strategic Prioritization: Expertly manage and prioritize the project backlog by evaluating the critical balance between importance and urgency. Prioritize and strike a balance between product support change requests and new feature development.
Process Optimization: Critically assess project estimates and workflows in collaboration with delivery teams. Champion initiatives and methodologies designed to improve efficiency and reduce delivery cycles without compromising outcomes.
Stakeholder Reporting: Provide clear concise and regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status key metrics financial health and team performance.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the evolution and standardization of project management methodologies tools and best practices across the organization.

Requirements

Experience (3 years) managing the end-to-end lifecycle of SaaS or software development projects. We would like to see your portfolio include direct links to the apps or software-related pages that you worked on.
Proven ability to develop and manage detailed project plans Gantt charts and roadmaps using Project management tools like Jira Teamwork or other. We expect to see a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Experience in creating and managing project budgets forecasting spend and reporting on financial status.
Working understanding of modern SaaS architecture APIs and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure). Ability to understand technical constraints and engage in meaningful dialogue with development teams.
Superior skill in crafting and delivering clear concise written and verbal status reports to senior management translating project details into business impacts (risks financials ROI).
Formal proficiency in identifying logging and mitigating project risks before they become issues.
Mastery of frameworks for prioritization.
Ability to critically assess development estimates challenge assumptions and implement process improvements (e.g. refining sprint ceremonies introducing automation) that demonstrably reduced cycle times.
Strong ability to negotiate scope timelines and resources with stakeholders and team members to achieve optimal outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to uphold quality standards and "definition of done" while managing tight deadlines not allowing timelines to justify technical compromise.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or other.
Certification in Shopify PMP or Agile (CSM SAFe).
Background in IT software development or business analysis.
Familiarity with UX/UI concepts and collaboration with design teams.
