We are looking for an AI Intern Product Engineering to work on AI-driven capabilities for an enterprise cybersecurity platform. The intern will collaborate with engineering and product teams to design develop and test intelligent features that enhance security monitoring threat detection risk analysis and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing developing and testing machine learning models for cybersecurity use cases such as Intrusion detection Phishing detection Anomalous access behaviour detection.
- Analyse large and complex datasets including Security and authentication logs Network traffic data and Threat intelligence feeds & telemetry.
- Perform data preprocessing feature engineering and model evaluation.
- Experiment with supervised unsupervised and deep learning techniques.
- Build models for Anomaly detection User and entity behaviour analytics (UEBA) Risk scoring and security alerting.
- Support the integration of AI models into existing security platforms services or tools.
- Document findings experiments assumptions and model performance metrics.
- Stay up to date with emerging AI techniques and evolving cybersecurity threats.
Requirements
Skills and Experience you require
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science / AI / ML / Cybersecurity / Data Science
- Strong programming skills in Python or C#
- Understanding of Machine learning fundamentals Statistics and Data analysis.
- Hands-on experience with at least one ML framework Scikit-learn PyTorch TensorFlow or similar.
- Experience with Pandas or NumPy for data handling
- REST APIs and basic backend concepts.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments
- Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Exposure to cybersecurity concepts (network security malware SIEM SOC operations).
- Experience working with large datasets or log data.
- Familiarity with NLP anomaly detection or time-series analysis.
- Prior projects coursework or research related to AI or security.
Required Skills:
Required Skills and Experience: 3-4 years of relevant digital marketing experience preferably in a B2B/SaaS environment (cybersecurity experience a plus). Strong SEO expertise with measurable results. Hands-on experience executing campaigns on LinkedIn and other social platforms. Experience with marketing and SEO tools such as Semrush SE Ranking Ahrefs HubSpot Google Analytics and Search Console and CRM tools like Salesforce. Familiarity with paid campaign setup (LinkedIn ads and search ads). Data-driven and comfortable using analytics to make recommendations. Ability to distil performance data into actionable insights and present them clearly. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Collaborative mindset to work across teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Proactive problem solver with a results-oriented attitude.
