Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with > 7 years of experience. The firm situated in the Greater Toronto Area is expanding its team and requires your expertise. This is a contract role.
Your qualifications will encompass:
- A Bachelors degree in Engineering along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in power generation TL and HV substation design.
- The capability to work independently within a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in utilizing structural analysis software.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
Your duties will involve:
- Engaging in continuous communication and coordination with clients other consultants contractors and suppliers.
- Contributing your extensive knowledge of codes and standards relevant to your design responsibilities.
- Ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Exhibiting creativity and innovation in problem-solving.
- Leading by example.
What you need to do now:
Required Skills:
A Bachelors Degree in Engineering Minimum of 7 years of experience in power generation TL and HV substation design. The capability to work independently within a collaborative team environment.
Required Education:
Bachelors Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and be licensed to practice as a professional engineer in Canada.
