Overview

Endurance IT Services is seeking a hands-on skilled Network Engineer for client in Virginia Beach! This role will support and enhance an enterprise multisite network environment with a strong emphasis on security availability and reliability. This role works directly with modern networking and security platforms in a compliancedriven environment.

Required Qualifications

5 years as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator in enterprise/multisite environments.
Experience with HPE Aruba networking.
Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls including HA and VPNs.
Solid understanding of routing switching VLANs segmentation and HA concepts.
Proficiency with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Ability to work independently and crossfunctionally.

Responsibilities

Design configure and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (core distribution access).
Support HPE Aruba switching and wireless solutions.
Implement highavailability architectures including redundancy and failover.
Configure and troubleshoot nextgeneration firewalls (policies SSL decryption VPNs HA).
Manage VLANs routing and secure segmentation.
Work with cloudbased security services (WAF DDoS mitigation secure DNS Zero Trust).
Monitor network performance and security using logging and diagnostic tools.
Participate in incident response and rootcause analysis.
Collaborate with infrastructure security and operations teams.
Maintain network documentation and diagrams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with sitetosite and remote access VPNs.
Knowledge of Zero Trust architectures.
Exposure to SIEM IDS/IPS or security telemetry.
Experience in regulated or compliancedriven environments (SOC 2 PCI government).
Relevant certifications: ACSP PCNSE Security CCNP.
