Overview
We are seeking a Business / Operations Acumatica Consultant with strong manufacturing domain expertise to work directly with Acumatica customers in manufacturing environments. This role focuses on business process analysis solution design and functional leadership rather than technical development.
The ideal consultant understands manufacturing operations end-to-end and can translate operational requirements into scalable Acumatica solutions that drive efficiency visibility and control.
Key Responsibilities
Lead discovery and requirements gathering sessions with manufacturing stakeholders.
Map current-state and future-state business processes across:
Production planning and scheduling
Inventory and warehouse operations
Costing and financial integration
Supply chain and procurement
Configure Acumatica manufacturing inventory and financial modules to align with operational needs.
Serve as the functional lead during implementations enhancements and optimizations.
Partner with technical consultants to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
Support UAT end-user training and go-live activities.
Advise clients on manufacturing best practices within Acumatica.
Requirements
3 years of Acumatica consulting experience in a functional or operations-focused role.
Manufacturing industry experience (hands-on operational exposure strongly preferred).
Strong understanding of Acumatica manufacturing functionality and financial integration.
Proven experience working directly with executive operations and finance stakeholders.
Excellent communication and client-facing consulting skills.
Ability to operate independently in a contract-based consulting role.
Engagement Requirements
This role is an hourly contract not W2 employment.
Consultant must have an established business entity.
Active business insurance (e.g. general liability professional liability) is required.
Required Skills:
3 years of Acumatica consulting experience in a functional or operations-focused role. Manufacturing industry experience (hands-on operational exposure strongly preferred). Strong understanding of Acumatica manufacturing functionality and financial integration. Proven experience working directly with executive operations and finance stakeholders.
