Outreach Program Coordinator

Job Summary:

This position will join the Center for Health Enhancement Systems Studies (CHESS) a dynamic mission-driven organization with over 40 team members. This multi-disciplinary research center focuses on technology process improvement and organizational change strategies to improve coping quality of life and access to care for individuals and families facing chronic or life-threatening health challenges.

This position will work directly with the Great Lakes Addiction Technology Transfer Center (ATTC). The Great Lakes ATTC provides training and technical assistance to addiction treatment providers in Illinois Indiana Michigan Minnesota Ohio and Wisconsin.


The primary duties of this Project Coordinator include but are not limited to:

  • Assist subject matter experts with planning and implementation of training/technical assistance initiatives

  • Edit PowerPoint slides and documents for 508 compliance and template requirements

  • Coordinate marketing registration and data collection for Great Lakes ATTC events

  • Assist with creating content for the Great Lakes ATTC newsletters and social media platforms

  • Actively participate in the dynamic ATTC team to contribute to continued improvement in service delivery.


The percent effort devoted to the above duties may fluctuate depending on the projects and funders needs.

Responsibilities:

  • 5% - Directs the implementation of program policies and procedures

  • 30% - Identifies promotes and maintains internal and external partnerships to promote the outreach program

  • 10% - Oversee regional outreach activities

  • 30% - Schedules and secures logistics and resources in support of an outreach program

  • 5% - Schedules day-to-day activities for program staff and student and community volunteers

  • 20% - Identifies opportunities for program improvement or new outreach program development

Compensation:

The starting salary is $55000 annually and is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
